This collection, which will gradually come to include new jewels over the years, was in the hands of several different owners until 1999, when the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation decided to purchase it and put it on display in some of the rooms of the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, designed especially to host this collection.
