How it all began

In 1997, Eduard Solé, Catalan photographer, graphic designer and lifelong admirer of Antoni Gaudí, launched the Gaudí Club at gaudiclub.com. The mission was simple: share the genius of Gaudí with the world. The Gaudí Club quickly became a reference. In collaboration with the Càtedra Gaudí, the club contributed to the academic dissemination of Gaudí's work. It organised the first international exhibition of works inspired by Gaudí, held in San Francisco, bringing Barcelona's artistic legacy to a global audience for the first time. The club also created the Premio Gaudí de Poesía y Narración Corta, an international poetry and short story competition celebrating Gaudí and Catalan Modernisme, a unique cultural initiative that attracted writers from around the world. |
